🧄 Japanese Garlic Bread Rolls Recipe

🧾 Ingredients

Dough ke liye:

  • 2½ cups (300g) all-purpose flour
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • ½ cup (120ml) warm milk
  • 1 egg
  • 3 tbsp butter (soft)

Tangzhong (secret for softness):

  • 2 tbsp flour
  • ½ cup water

Garlic Butter:

  • 3 tbsp butter (melted)
  • 3 cloves garlic (finely chopped)
  • 1 tbsp parsley (optional)
  • pinch of salt

👩‍🍳 Instructions

1. Tangzhong banaye

  • Pan me flour + water daal ke low heat par cook karo
  • Constant stir karo jab tak paste jaisa thick ho jaye
  • Thanda hone do

2. Dough tayar karo

  • Bowl me flour, sugar, salt, yeast mix karo
  • Ab milk, egg aur tangzhong add karo
  • Soft dough bana lo

3. Kneading

  • 8–10 min tak knead karo
  • End me butter add karke smooth aur soft dough bana lo

4. First rise

  • Dough ko cover karke 1–1.5 ghanta rest do
  • Jab double ho jaye, ready hai

5. Shape

  • Dough ko 8–10 balls me divide karo
  • Rolls bana ke tray me rakh do

6. Second rise

  • 30–40 min aur rest do

7. Bake

  • Oven preheat: 180°C
  • 15–18 min bake karo jab tak golden ho jaye

8. Garlic butter finish

  • Garam rolls par garlic butter brush karo
  • Extra soft aur flavorful ho jayenge 🤤

  • Tangzhong skip mat karna — isi se Japanese softness aati hai
  • Overbake mat karo warna dry ho jayenge
  • Fresh garlic use karo best taste ke liye
